The Kiha 58 series is a diesel express car of the Japanese National Railways that was introduced in 1961. The KiRo 28 series is a green car equipped with one engine, and the 100 series for long trains was equipped with air conditioning from the beginning of production, and the 2100 series was equipped with an air conditioning power supply unit that could supply power to other cars.

- High Grade (HG) specifications
- Among the 100 series cars for long trains, the 2100 series cars are modeled after the 155-189 series cars, which are newly air-conditioned cars with the water inlet at the bottom of the side closer to the center, but are now reproduced as 2100 series cars capable of supplying power to other cars.
- The roof is reproduced with the small ventilators for cooling the fluorescent light transistors lined up on the actual car, along with the roof being slightly lowered due to the air conditioning.
- The louvers for the generator on the R side, which are characteristic of the 2100 series, are reproduced.
- The light green class band is reproduced as a printed image
- Reproduces the appearance of a small window at the bottom of the passenger door.
- Adopts a maroon color sheet.
- Car number, green car mark, and affiliation notation are selectable and a transfer sheet is included
- Adopts a new current collection system and black wheels.
- TN coupler (SP) is standard equipment.
