VH-OJA completed its final flight on March 8th of this year and was donated to the Australian Historic Aircraft Restoration Society. In August 1989, the aircraft also held the record for the longest distance traveled by a civilian aircraft, flying from London to Sydney in 20 hours, 9 minutes and 5 seconds, a record that remains unbroken to this day.
