HobbyBoss 84577 1/35 PLA ZTQ-15 Light Tank

The Type 15 light tank ( codenamed ZTQ-15 in domestic service), nicknamed "Black Panther", is the third generation of light tanks of the People's Liberation Army of China. It will be the replacement of the retired Type 62 light tank.

The 15-type light tank is characterized by providing two interchangeable armor protection components. In the standard protection state, the tank turret, hull and both sides are equipped with composite armor plates, the other parts use basic steel armor, and the front of the hull is protected by light explosive reactive armor. In addition to composite armor, the enhanced armor protection component also installs thicker explosive reactive armor on the front lower body, including the entire tank body and turret. In order to improve the side protection capability, explosive reactive armor is also mounted on the side skirts , and armored fences can be selected at the rear of the hull. After the armor is upgraded, it can cope with more intense regional wars.
