The BPz2 is an armored recovery vehicle used by the German Army and others, developed based on the Leopard 1 tank. In addition to recovering tanks damaged in combat, it is also used for maintenance tasks such as removing turrets and engines. The A2 is an upgraded version of the A1 model.
