Something that may only become apparent at second glance, and when compared to the three previously produced aircraft: In this, now the fourth, production run, the Dutch airline's 787-9 Dreamliner not only received a new registration and name, a series of new markings on the sides of the fuselage, and an update to the positioning of the Skyteam logo. The shape of the blue paintwork around the nose area was also changed. This was done primarily for practical reasons: This allows the radome to be painted entirely in a single color, reducing the cost and effort of maintenance in the event of a replacement.
