Fujimi 1/700 IJN Battle Ship Kii Special Version Camouflage NX-3 EX-2

This model kit of the IJN battleship Kii from Fujimi is now available in a special anti-submarine camouflage color! Painting is not required, as each part is molded in color; some parts are combined with stickers to express color. Gluing is also not necessary! This "phantom specification" ship carries a 51cm gun developed from the Yamato type; the hull is in green anti-submarine camouflage, and precolored parts that imitate the outboard No. 22 color. The kit can be built as a full-hull or waterline version; many of the portholes are closed. The gangai electric circuit attached to the side of the hull is carefully expressed to the fastening part; the characteristic bulbous shape of the bow is realistically reproduced too. The main gun can be elevated and turned, and the secondary gun is rotatable. Two types of carrier-based aircraft are included: a Type 0 three-seater reconnaissance seaplane, and a Type 0 observation aircraft. Their panel lines are engraved for extra detail, and the propeller is integrated with the fuselage for precision. Pre-cut stickers are included for the detailing, and a base for display is also included. Bonus parts include 78 machine gun ammunition boxes, mast struts, and an antenna strut on the canopy of the secondary gun.
