Fujimi 1/700 IJN Aircraft Carrier Jyunyo 1944 Full Hull Model KG-40

Fujimi's model kit of the Japanese Navy aircraft carrier Jyunyo is now available as a full-hull version!

This kit reproduces her appearance at the time of the Battle of Mariana in 1944.

Features

  • Individual ship differences such as the number of bollards on the anchor chain deck and the square shape of the flight deck are made with special parts.
  • A base is included for display; the 25mm continuous machine gun contains both conventional one-piece parts and more precise two-piece parts.
  • The 25mm machine gun consists of two pieces, with the gunmetal of the barrel and the hull color of the base painted separately to make it easy to reproduce.
  • Decals are included for the deck markings, with the red-and-white lines on the side of the bridge included with the red color removed, as can be seen in photos taken during the Battle of Mariana.
