Aoshima A020057 1/24 Toyota AE86 Sprinter Trueno Gt-Apex '85

The Toyota AE86 Trueno, which was released in May 1983, adopted an FR layout at a time when FF was the norm; the engine was also changed from the previous 2T-G to a newly developed 4A-G. The body variations, along with its sister car the Levin, are a three-door hatchback and a two-door coupe. The model name changes depending on the engine, with the 4A-G-equipped car being called the AE86 and the 1500cc 3A-U-equipped car being called the AE85; their popularity continues to this day.
